
US stocks rise with Washington agreeing to help two trillion dollars
US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — US stocks continued their strong recovery on Wednesday, which started the previous session, as politicians in Washington reached an agreement on a $ 2 trillion stimulus package to help companies and millions of Americans affected by the economic repercussions of the Corona virus.
The Standard & Poor’s 500 Index opened 10.44 points, or 0.43 percent, to 2,457.77 points, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 345.43 points, or 1.67 percent, to 21,050.34 points, and the Nasdaq Composite Index advanced 3.50 points, or 0.05 percent, to 7,421.36 points.
