NEW YORK, BRONX (ORDO News) — A recent poll conducted in Britain revealed startling claims by a fraction of the population, suggesting that one-in-50 Brits believe they have been abducted by UFOs and engaged in intergalactic encounters with extraterrestrial beings.
According to the survey of 2,000 individuals, approximately 2% of respondents stated that they have experienced being beamed onto a spaceship by aliens and subjected to otherworldly activities.
With the adult population of Britain estimated to be around 58 million, this statistic translates to just under 1.2 million people who believe they have encountered aliens in such a manner.
The accounts provided by those who claim to have been ‘taken’ by Martians often involve a vague recollection of the event, with many asserting that their memories were subsequently wiped clean before being returned to Earth. Among this subset, 62% believe they were involved in a ‘sex study’ conducted by extraterrestrial entities.
Interestingly, residents of Birmingham, colloquially known as Brummies, emerged as the most likely to report experiences of alien abduction, with 6% claiming to have been beamed onto a UFO.
Celebrity accounts of encounters with extraterrestrial phenomena further fuel the intrigue surrounding alien abduction. Personalities like Jo Wood, the former wife of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, claim to have witnessed UFOs on multiple occasions and speculate about potential abductions during these sightings.
Other notable figures, including Puff Daddy, Robbie Williams, Kim Wilde, Paul O’Grady, and Gemma Collins, have also shared their purported experiences with alien encounters, contributing to the mystique surrounding the phenomenon.
Despite the incredulity often associated with such accounts, the prevalence of these beliefs underscores the enduring fascination with the possibility of extraterrestrial life and the mysteries of the universe.
Jessica Leoni, a spokesperson for IllicitEncounters, remarked on the intriguing findings, humorously suggesting that residents of the West Midlands might consider carrying spare tinfoil hats for protection against potential intergalactic encounters. She quipped about the allure of being picked up by a flying saucer, highlighting the allure and curiosity surrounding the idea of contact with beings from other worlds.
