
Explosion thundered in downtown Los Angeles
US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — An explosion occurred in a building in downtown Los Angeles, at least 10 firefighters were injured, the Associated Press writes May 16.
According to the publication, on Saturday evening firefighters arrived on a call on Boyd Street in the city center. A one-story non-residential building caught fire, more than 200 firefighters participated in the extinguishing. At some point, an explosion occurred, 10 people were injured.
It is noted that their condition is extremely serious. They were hospitalized in helicopters.
In addition, fire swept the neighboring buildings, but was soon localized.
It is still unknown what exactly exploded.
On May 16, it was reported that a body with signs of violent death was found in Moscow during the extinguishing of an apartment.
