What a solar eclipse looks like from the cockpit of an airplane

(ORDO NEWS) — We have already written about a total solar eclipse, but the way it looks from an airplane looks much more interesting and even somewhat intimidating.

This eclipse occurred in March 2016 and generated a lot of public interest. It is curious that Alaska Airlines flight 870 from Anchorage to Honolulu was specially changed already in the air so that passengers (among whom there were many astronomers flying to the Pacific islands for the sake of an eclipse) saw an astronomical phenomenon right in the air. And, judging by the screams in the video, the passengers were really happy about it.
