(ORDO NEWS) — Plane crashes continue to pursue the US Army, this time the F / A-18E / F Super Hornet fighter-bomber crashed.
The newest and largest US Air Force base in Kings and Fresno Counties in California was the site of an aviation incident. An American carrier-based fighter-bomber and attack aircraft F / A-18E Super Hornet crashed at the Limur Air Force Base, where the strike fighter wing of the Pacific Forces is based.
The crash occurred during a standard training flight in the Upper Valley area south of the China Lake naval base. The fighter pilot managed to eject and after landing was taken to the hospital. As a result of the incident, the pilot, who was checked at a local hospital, was not injured and was discharged from the hospital.
The US Navy is working with local authorities to continue investigating the crash. The reasons that led to the crash of the plane, as well as the destruction and injuries on the ground as a result of the disaster are not reported,informsthe official page of the Limur base on Facebook. The specialists intend to study the circumstances that led to the incident.
Recall, this is not the first incident with American military aircraft in 2020.
