When the world does end and what the Bible says

(ORDO NEWS) — If you believe the scriptures in the Bible, then the end of the world will happen at the same time as terrible war and terrible natural disasters. Christians believe that before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, the Antichrist will come to Earth to destroy our world in seven years.

Professor Tom Meyer stated that the Bible clearly describes the chronological order of events that will indicate that the end of the world has begun. The very first event will be the Rapture. Jesus will appear in the sky, but will not come to earth yet. He will take all those Christians who have already died to him. The Bible does not say exactly when this will happen. Also, the scripture does not indicate how much time will elapse between events such as the Rapture and the Tribulation, when the Antichrist will rule on Earth.

It is worth noting that some Christians are sure that the situation with the coronavirus is already the first sign that the biblical prophecy is beginning to come true.

Tom Meyer, in turn, says that everything can start at any second. The rapture will happen without any warning and no one will notice. This event is mentioned several times in the Bible, in the first letter of Paul to the Thessalonians and in the first letter of Paul to the Corinthians. Scripture says that Jesus will descend from heaven to the sound of God’s trumpet. When the last trumpet is sounded, all the dead will be resurrected and together with the living believers will be caught up to him in the clouds.
