(ORDO NEWS) — Pacific tropical storm formed off the southwestern coast of Mexico. It was named Andres, and it is the first storm in the waters of the Pacific Ocean in 2021. It is noted that the tropical system developed too early in 2021. At least two weeks before the official start of the storm season.
Reported by CNN.
Such deviations have already occurred earlier, for example, in 2017. The tropical depression (also called the season of cataclysms) began to form on May 7. Already, Andres’s wind speed reaches 64 km / h and is heading northwest.
Scientists claim that the bad weather will continue until May 11, and then it will subside. Due to the early start of the storm season, the National Hurricane Center decided to release its tropical weather forecasts earlier than usual to keep the public informed in time.
This is necessary in order for people to prepare for bad weather: prepare food supplies, fortify houses, and pack up things in case of evacuation. The sooner people are informed, the fewer victims there will be in the future. At the same time, it does not matter at all on the shores of which ocean hurricanes are expected. Now forecasts will come out earlier for everyone.
