NEW YORK, BRONX (ORDO News) — The Taliban* expressed support for Palestine amid the escalation and called on regional countries and the international community to prevent Israeli violence and resolve the Palestinian issue by giving Palestinians their legitimate rights.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is closely monitoring the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and considers the occurrence of such events as a result of the violation of the rights of Palestinians by Israel… The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan supports the legitimate, historical and legal right of the Palestinians to have an independent country on the historical land of the Palestinians and calls on Islamic countries, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the world community and especially influential countries in the region to prevent Israel’s crimes against the poor Palestinian people,” the ministry said in a statement on the social network X.
