NEW YORK, BRONX (ORDO News) — In recent years, the topic of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) has become the subject of lively public debate. However, as it turns out, religious beliefs have a serious influence on UFO research, especially in US political circles, Daily Star reports.
According to leading UFO researcher Ron James, the Pentagon has blocked UFO research due to the belief that the alien creatures are demons. This unexpected revelation casts a shadow over scientific efforts to study the mysterious phenomena.
Religious fundamentalism has a strong influence on American political governance and defense apparatus, which hinders the development of UFO research and even science in general. The Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) research program has proven difficult to fund due to the beliefs of those who believe unidentified objects are “demonic.”
Former AATIP head Luis Elizondo confirmed the problem, describing it as more than just a “little voice in the Pentagon.” He claims that it was a large group of people who believed in the demonic nature of the observed phenomena.
It turns out that the religious fundamentalist lobby at the Pentagon even prevented Elizondo from securing funding for the program.
But it is interesting that despite the conflict between religion and science, some representatives of the faith see harmony between the idea of alien life and their beliefs. For example, Congressman Tim Burchett sees an analogy between the biblical description of a “wheel” and a spaceship.
However, Ron James insists that religious fundamentalism in US political circles is actively hindering UFO research and science in general. He cites his conversation with researcher John Brandenburg, who suggests that extreme fundamentalism controls the allocation of resources and attention in academia.
And although some reject the possibility of UFOs originating from other planets, Ron proposes an alternative theory based on the concept of a “quantum leap”. According to this theory, people can communicate with alternate versions of themselves and even learn something from these realities.
Is there a connection between these alternate realities and the existence of aliens? The question remains open.
The balance between religion and science is an important aspect of the development of society. The past shows that contradictions between faith and scientific facts can lead to conflicts. However, the possibility of extraterrestrial life should inspire scientific research and open new horizons for understanding the world around us. Ultimately, this can promote harmony between faith and knowledge, allowing both areas to develop without conflicting with each other.
