Mathematicians are developing a theory proving that the universe has consciousness
US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — For several years, mathematicians have been developing a theory called the “theory of integrated information” (TII for short). According to experts, this work will completely change the consciousness of nations in the future.
The theory is very bizarre, as it proves that not only a person has consciousness, but also any object, such as a car, subatomic particle and the Universe as a whole.
Scientists are sure that any element of inanimate nature is endowed with consciousness. Plus, consciousness can be described in mathematical language. Further development of the theory and proof of its right to exist will be the beginning of a real revolution in the scientific field, said Johannes Kleiner from the Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy.
Mathematicians believe that consciousness is based on atomic particles. The complexity of thought processes directly depends on the density of compounds. In the cerebral cortex, for example, there is a dense accumulation of neurons. As a result, complex computational processes take place there.
The process of proving that the Universe has consciousness requires determining the “weight” of this consciousness. For this, mathematicians have coined the term phi, which is comparable to a kilogram.
The developed theory should help people understand the neural basis of consciousness and try to apply knowledge to outer space. Perhaps there are the same laws that on Earth force us to make certain decisions.
