Italy will open borders on June 3
US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — The Italian authorities decided to remove from June 3 this year all restrictions on entry into and exit from the country.
Such a measure means a serious weakening of some of the most stringent quarantine measures in the world introduced by various countries because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Starting from the same date, free movement within the republic, the regions of which advocated the early lifting of restrictions, will be allowed.
Since the beginning of the spread of coronavirus infection in Italy, more than 223 thousand cases of infection have been recorded, more than 31 thousand patients have died.
