Italian manufacturer promises to produce luxury electric aircraft by 2025
(ORDO NEWS) — The new electric aircraft ANN2 from the Italian company Manta Aircraft has been designed for the comfortable travel of wealthy people and company executives on regional trips.
The ANN2 will have a range of 600 kilometers and a cruising speed of 300 kilometers per hour.
ANN2 is a device with 8 electric impellers as engines, while 4 work according to the + scheme familiar to convertiplanes. That is, they operate vertically during takeoff and landing, and at the time of cruising flight they move to a horizontal position.
The company said it plans to build an aircraft capable of carrying 2 to 5 passengers. Manta Aircraft plans to begin certification testing in 2023 and production in 2025.
