iPhone 14 won’t get Touch ID in-display fingerprint scanner

(ORDO NEWS) — According to insider Dylandkt, the iPhone 14 will not receive Touch ID. As for the ProMotion adaptive refresh rate display, it will remain exclusive to the Pro versions.

In the fall, Apple will hold a presentation of the iPhone 14. Some details about the upcoming new product are already known. Another piece of information was shared by an insider under the nickname Dylandkt.

According to him, they decided not to equip the smartphone with an under-screen Touch ID fingerprint scanner. Perhaps the next generation of gadgets will not receive it either.

If we talk about a display with an adaptive refresh rate ProMotion, then they want to supply only Pro-versions. Samsung will supply 6.1-inch displays. The 6.7-inch displays for the iPhone 14 Pro Max will be supplied by Samsung and LG. The base iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will receive displays from the Chinese company BOE.

Earlier it became known that the growing demand for cameras for the iPhone 14 led to the fact that Sony was forced to outsource the production of CIS image sensors to TSMC.

We also recall that at the end of last year, sources spoke about some of the features of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models.
