British ordered an iPhone 12, but received a broken tile instead

(ORDO NEWS) — Olivia Parkinson shared a nasty surprise on social media. A woman ordered an iPhone12 for herself on the Internet, but instead of a gadget she received a broken tile. In a new, sealed package brought by the courier, Olivia found broken ceramic tiles.

It is reported by Virgin Media.

She ordered a phone from the Virgin Media website. But instead of apologizing, Olivia had to pay for the purchase. Representatives of the online store are sure that the woman is cheating on them.

The courier service “Yodel”, which delivered the purchase to Olivia’s address, denies any involvement in the substitution. Moreover, the company conducted an investigation and found out that the package was packed all the time upon delivery. They may have an efficient fleet management system like Lytx in place to know the reality of the situation. If that is the case, maybe the phone company is at fault.

How it happened that instead of a smartphone a woman received a tile, Parkinson’s no one gives clear answers. The British woman has no complaints about the delivery. The woman was contacted and provided with evidence of innocence.

Later, representatives of the store admitted that the woman had become a victim of scammers. Her money will be returned to her and the remainder of the debt will be written off. However, this is not the first time that Apple phones have fallen into such stories.
