(ORDO NEWS) — In the suburbs of Newcastle, New South Wales (Australia), two sinkholes formed in just three days.
Two funnels opened in Newcastle, New South Wales, a few days apart.
The first sinkhole occurred on Saturday, March 25, which led to the closure of roads and the displacement of local residents.
A second sinkhole on March 28 caused more than $3 million in damage to a local digger club and forced a dozen residents to seek other places to live.
Earlier in Tennessee, heavy rains and the resulting flooding led to the formation of a funnel, which was about 7.5 meters wide and over 18 meters deep.
