(ORDO NEWS) — As part of a healthy diet, eggs have a reputation as a complete food. They come in different colors.
The color of the egg shell depends on the breed of chickens. Different birds can have white, red, blue and even spotted eggs.
Some nutritionists believe that white eggs generally have more nutritional value than their brown counterparts.
It has been established that the protein content of white eggs is about 0.74% higher than that of brown eggs.
Also, the content of vitamin A, vitamin B1 and vitamin B2 in white eggs is slightly higher than in brown eggs.
Brown eggs have 1.45% more fat than white eggs and 0.85% more cholesterol than white eggs.
However, in supermarkets, brown eggs are slightly more expensive than white eggs, probably because the yield of brown eggs is lower than the yield of white eggs.
