The first country in EU announced the end of the coronavirus
US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — During a telephone meeting, the Slovenian government announced the end of the country’s coronavirus epidemic due to a reduction in the spread of infections.
“Today the best clinical situation in Europe has developed in Slovenia, which allows us to announce the end of the epidemic,” Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa said.
Over 66 thousand tests have been carried out in the country since the start of the pandemic. A total of 1465 infected were identified in Slovenia, 103 people died. Over the past day, only one case of morbidity has been recorded.
The government decided to open the borders of Slovenia with Austria, Hungary and Italy. They will also gradually open airports subject to protective measures.
