US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — The TASS news agency reported that a Russian non-governmental company will launch five new satellites into space. The launch will take place in the fourth quarter of this year.
So, judging by the plans of the company, one of the devices, which was named Cubesat 1U, will be launched for Saudi Arabia, and Tunisia became the customer of another one (Cubesat 3U).
According to official data, Cubesat 1U will be used for educational purposes, and Cubesat 3U will be launched to support the Internet of things. In the future, Tunisia plans to increase the constellation of such satellites in orbit to 30 vehicles.
It also became known that all five satellites will be sent using the Russian Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle, and the Frigate block from the Baikonur Cosmodrome will be responsible for overclocking.
