Russia began to produce the latest Su-35 fighters for Egypt

An unnamed military-diplomatic source, in a conversation with the TASS analytical agency, reported that Russia had begun to produce the latest Su-35 fighters for Egypt.

”At the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant. Gagarin began production of the Su-35 is designed to supply the Egyptian Air Force signed a contract in 2018,” stated in the official agency reported.

However, he also noted that “the timing of the first batch of aircraft to the Egyptian side in connection with the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus pandemic has not yet been determined.” By the way, the agency itself separately states that it does not have official confirmation of the information provided by the source.

Recall that a little earlier information appeared on the network that the Egyptian side intends to buy more than 20 aircraft from Russia. At the same time, the contract itself, it seems, entered into force at the end of 2018.
