(ORDO NEWS) — The European Space Agency, together with Roscosmos, has shown a new image of Mars. The photo includes part of the Argir plain and the Guka crater.
The image was taken by the CaSSIS camera installed on the ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter. On the photo frame you can see chaotic mounds, ripples and traces of “dust devils”.
The thin lines in the photo are just traces of the “devils” that arise after the vortex movement of air due to the temperature difference in the atmosphere.
The bluish tint is explained by filters, it is clarified that in reality the color of this surface is different.
Earlier it was reported that Chinese scientists found water in a sample of lunar soil, which was delivered to Earth by the Chang’e-5 interplanetary station.
