(ORDO NEWS) — Snow hail hit the tourist province of Antalya in southern Turkey as a result of which the activities of local residents were paralyzed for a short time.
As the news portal Mynet notes, the bad weather took people by surprise in the cities of Manavgat and Serik.
Motorists had to take cover in underground parking lots or under the canopies of gas stations, as hail fell the size of a golf ball.
Along with hail, heavy snow fell on the cities, as a result of which traffic jams formed on the roads.
Last week, several cities in Antalya were hit by heavy torrential rains, causing mudslides to come down from the mountains in some areas.
