NATO will hold an emergency meeting to discuss US decision

US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — The NATO North Atlantic Council will hold an emergency meeting on Friday May 22 to discuss the situation with the US decision to withdraw from the Open Skies Treaty . It is reported by CNN.

Earlier it became known that America intends to withdraw from the agreement. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Moscow is expecting clarification from Washington on this decision.

US President Donald Trump explained this intention by saying that Russia allegedly does not fulfill its obligations. At the same time, the American leader is confident that countries will conclude a new deal.
