EU countries are in talks to extend the border closure

US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — European Commission President Ursula von der Line said on Friday that European Union countries are in talks about whether to extend border closures beyond Easter to deal with the Corona virus crisis.

“We are consulting with member states on how to move forward after Easter,” she told Europe 1 radio.

She stressed that the new budget for the European Union must be in the form of a new “Marshall Plan” to achieve recovery for Europe after the Coruna outbreak, adding that Europe will emerge from the crisis in a stronger position.
