(ORDO NEWS) — President Biden’s $773 billion budget proposal for the Department of Defense for fiscal year 2023 includes $24.5 billion for the US Space Force and the Space Development Agency about $5 billion more than what Congress passed in 2022.
Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall said anti-satellite weapons from adversaries such as China and Russia require the Department of Defense to invest in advanced space systems.
