An asteroid will fly past Earth on April Fool’s Day

(ORDO NEWS) — The asteroid, which should fly past the Earth at the end of this working week, was discovered in 2007 and has a diameter of 110 to 260 meters.

The asteroid, dubbed 2007 FF1, is moving at about 48,000 kilometers per hour (it is potentially dangerous) and is one of 15,000 objects called Apollo class asteroids.

According to the Space Reference online database, 2007 FF1 will make its closest approach to Earth on April Fool’s Day, passing our planet at a distance of 7.4 million kilometers.

According to NASA, the asteroid will approach the Earth on April 1 at 16:35 EST
