NEW YORK, BRONX (ORDO News) — Artificial intelligence created by humanity is becoming more and more amazing and mysterious. Neuroscientist from the Netherlands, Floris de Lange, presented interesting results of his research, which aroused wide interest in the world of science.
De Lange argues that the human brain appears to have an amazing ability to predict the future. He compares it to a powerful computer that can predict events, including, for example, an image that will appear on the screen in a few seconds. But how does the brain achieve such predictive accuracy?
“We don’t know everything about this yet, but it’s probably how the brain conserves energy. We don’t need to quickly adapt to an event if we have foreseen it and are already prepared,” says the neuroscientist.
Human intuition plays an important role in our lives. But the question arises: how much can you trust this intuition? Or should we rely on artificial intelligence predictions?
“Artificial intelligence in its forecast is based on the increase in life expectancy in the world and on advances in medicine. For example, in Holland they have already created an elixir of youth, and in Russia they promised to make an immortality pill in 10 years.
By summing up all this data, artificial intelligence makes a prediction that a person will not age and will live more than 300 years,” said Bernhard Schindlholzer, manager of machine learning technologies at the American technology company.
However, in addition to these exciting predictions, artificial intelligence has also predicted something even more surprising.
According to his prophecy, in 2100 he himself will take control of the planet and go to colonize other star systems.
The question of what artificial intelligence relied on to create this fantastic prediction remains a mystery. Perhaps he just spread out the tarot cards? Or does he have access to information that we cannot yet imagine?
Today we stand on the threshold of amazing scientific discoveries and technological advances. And although the predictions of artificial intelligence may seem fantastic, they make us think about the future of humanity and its connection with machines. What awaits us ahead – only time will tell.
