(ORDO NEWS) — American programmer Stefan Thomas has lost his password for a $ 240 million bitcoin wallet. Reported by The New York Times.

For almost 10 years, a man has been trying to find the key to his account.

The programmer received 7,002 bitcoins in the early 2010s as a reward for creating a video about cryptocurrency. The fee is kept in a virtual wallet protected by the IronKey system.
