NEW YORK, BRONX (ORDO News) — The Russian Aerospace Forces carried out strikes in Syria on the underground shelters of militants involved in shelling the positions of Syrian government troops, Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties in the Arab Republic (CPVS), said at a briefing.
“The Russian Aerospace Forces carried out air strikes on targets of illegal armed groups involved in shelling the positions of Syrian government troops. The underground shelters of militants were hit in the areas of the settlements of Kbana in the province of Latakia, Inkzik and Baksamtah in the province of Idlib,” Kulit said at a briefing.
In addition, one Syrian soldier was killed as a result of mortar attacks by militants in the province of Latakia near the village of Sandran, and four more were wounded.
