NASA to search for life on Jupiter’s moon

(ORDO NEWS) — Information appeared on the network that NASA specialists began assembling the Europe Clipper probe. With its help, they want to look for life on one of the moons of Jupiter – Europa.

It is reported that the development stage of the spacecraft and the production of its individual parts took the engineers the last few years.

And only in 2022, all the components of the probe began to be brought to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) – the assembly process started there.

At the moment, scientists expect the launch of the mission to take place in October 2024. At the same time, the probe will reach its goal as early as 2030.

If everything goes well, the device will collect information about the atmosphere on Europa. Also, the device will study the thickness of the ice on the surface of the satellite, as well as the chemical composition of the warm ocean under the ice.
