NEW YORK, BRONX (ORDO News) — The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it struck about 800 targets in the Gaza Strip, Haaretz reported.
“The Israel Defense Forces carried out strikes on approximately 800 targets in the Gaza Strip,” the publication said, citing an IDF spokesman.
It is noted that dozens of fighters from the Palestinian Hamas movement were also detained.
On Saturday morning, Israel was hit by an unprecedented rocket attack from the Gaza Strip.
The press service of the Israeli army said that more than 3 thousand rockets were launched. In addition, Hamas fighters, after massive rocket attacks, penetrated into the border areas in southern Israel.
