NEW YORK, BRONX (ORDO News) — The representative of the Palestinian Hamas movement, Abdul Latif Al-Kanu, said that the operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” was a response to Israel‘s repeated violations of the “red lines” at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Iraqi TV channel Rudaw reports.
“This (operation – ed.) was a response to what Hamas has repeatedly warned about in connection with Israel crossing “red lines” at the Al-Aqsa mosque,” the TV channel reports, citing Al-Qana.
The Hamas spokesman also noted that Palestinian militants carried out raids on Israeli targets “by land, air and underground.”
On Saturday morning, Israel was hit by an unprecedented rocket attack from the Gaza Strip. The press service of the Israeli army said that the radicals launched more than 3 thousand rockets.
