NEW YORK, BRONX (ORDO News) — A funny road incident occurred in Slovakia. A car driver has been fined for speeding after a CCTV camera caught a dog behind the wheel.
In the photograph taken by a CCTV camera, the hunting dog is driving a Skoda car. Apparently, the dog named Havino, who was in the company of the driver, decided to take on the role of the driver and jumped into the driver’s lap.
The image evokes considerable admiration – you can see a cheeky smile on Javino’s face, as if she is enjoying the process of driving a car.
Local police, having received a report of the incident, did not stand aside. According to their Facebook post, the 31-year-old driver was pulled over shortly after the amazing scene was caught on camera.
The driver claimed that the dog suddenly climbed onto his lap and got behind the wheel. However, police say the video footage tells a different story. The recording does not show any sudden movements that could indicate the dog’s actions.
A post on the police social media page read: “The police couldn’t believe their eyes. Instead of a photo of the driver, the brown hunting dog smiled beautifully at the camera.”
Interestingly, the police did not disclose whether the man was fined specifically for speeding or for allowing his dog to interfere with driving.
Police also warned other drivers to avoid being distracted by pets while driving. They emphasized that even a small animal can pose a danger on the road.
