US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — OPCW finds Syria regime responsible for 2017 chemical warfare attacks.
The investigation and identification team of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) assigned the Syrian authorities responsibility for the combat use of toxic substances in March 2017, the group reports.
It is alleged that the armed forces of Syria in March 2017 in the village of El-Latin in the province of Homs used sarin gas and chlorine.
The OPCW also stated that a “chemical attack” in the Syrian Duma in April 2018 allegedly used chlorine. Russia did not find any signs of this , the Ministry of Defense emphasized that the White Helmets organization played in front of the cameras in the Duma .
It was also reported that Moscow was shocked by the facts of fraud in the results of the investigation of the incident in the Duma by the Fact-Finding Mission of the use of chemical weapons in Syria.
