US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — According to Israeli sources, 11 aircraft of the Israeli El-Al airline will deliver to Israel millions of units of necessary protective equipment and medical equipment for the prevention, examination and treatment of persons infected with coronavirus. Deliveries are organized by the Israeli foreign intelligence service Mossad and the Israeli Ministry of Health.
Informed sources said that the Israeli Ministry of Health and the Mossad Foreign Intelligence Service have been delivering the necessary medical equipment for the fight against coronavirus over the past two weeks. They are actively purchasing protective suits, respirators, masks and gloves.
In the near future, Israel plans to use the cargo aircraft of the airline El Al to deliver medical cargo to Ben Gurion Airport (Tel Aviv). It is noted that Israel is trying by all means to fill the shortage of medical equipment and protective equipment necessary to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

On Friday, April 3, Israeli authorities closed the entrance and exit to Bnei Brak due to the coronavirus pandemic. Maccabi CEO Ran Saar said about 38% of Bnei Brak residents are infected with coronavirus. In total, 200 thousand people live in the city. Bnei Brak is one of the centers of the coronavirus epidemic in Israel, so it was decided to quarantine the city.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has deployed troops in Bnei Brak to help local authorities fight the spread of coronavirus infection.
According to Israeli media, about half of coronavirus infections occur in ultra-Orthodox Jews, who make up 10% of the country’s population.
Ultra-Orthodox Jews in Bnei Brak refuse to comply with social separation and quarantine measures, so the local police are forced to conduct special patrols in religious quarters and restrict entry and exit from the city.
