
Syria repulsed Israeli rocket strike
US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — Syrian air defense systems (Air Defense) repelled an Israeli missile strike at Shayrat military airfield near the city of Homs, reports on Tuesday, March 31, Al Hadath TV channel.
It is specified that at least eight missiles were fired at military facilities of the air base. In addition, the Syrian air defense managed to shoot down several missiles, but most of the shells reached their goals. All were released from Lebanese airspace.
On March 5, the Syrian army repelled an Israeli attack in the sky over the city of Quneitra in the south-west of the country. Then not one rocket reached its goal.
The Israeli military regularly conduct operations and strike at Syrian territory, justifying them by countering the Iranian military and responding to shelling by the Syrian army.
