Scientist believes that he has solved the mystery of Nefertiti’s burial

(ORDO NEWS) — An Egyptologist from Great Britain suggests that there may be a secret door in the tomb of the famous pharaoh Tutankhamun.

It is she who can lead scientists to the tomb of Queen Nefertiti, who is his father’s wife and ruled Egypt for several years. The probability that the burial of the ruler is located in a secret room is very high.

Nicholas Reeves has discovered several hidden hieroglyphs that were present in the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun. They confirm that Nefertiti was buried next to this tomb.

It is worth paying attention to the fact that this theory has never been confirmed before, because the conducted scans did not allow to reveal the presence of a secret room in the burial.

Thanks to the discovered symbols, everything can now change.

Reeves determined that the symbols that tell the story of Tutankhamun’s burial were inscribed on top of other hieroglyphs.

It is the hidden signs that tell how the process of burying the stepmother of the heir to the throne took place. Nefertiti was the wife of Pharaoh Akhenaten, so she may be buried somewhere nearby.

“I am sure that these hieroglyphs are proof that the tomb was originally intended for Queen Nefertiti. In the image, you can see the features of the face, which are characteristic of the Egyptian ruler.

At first they were painted, but then the funeral image of Tutankhamun directly was applied on top,” says Reeves.

It is worth noting that Tutankhamun unexpectedly died at the age of 19. This happened in 1324 BC. That is why he urgently needed a tomb, the construction of which at that time simply did not have time to be completed.

That is why the old hieroglyphs were carefully hidden in the burial, and new ones were applied on top of them. After that, all of them were directly related to the funeral process of Pharaoh Tutankhamun.

The scientist is sure that the tomb of the young ruler may actually be only a small part of the huge structure that was originally built for Nefertiti.

Therefore, it is quite possible that her mummy is in one of the hidden rooms. With the help of new research, experts hope to find traces of the doorway. There is a possibility that the door is hidden behind a false wall.
