600-meter tunnel found on the US border with Mexico

US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — Law enforcement agencies in the US have found the 600-meter tunnel smugglers, leading to the border with Mexico to San Diego, and seized drugs worth almost 30 million dollars, according to a press release published on the website Immigration and Customs Police USA.

The find was made on March 19 as a result of a joint operation of Mexican and American services.

The tunnel entrances were located on the territory of two warehouses, one of which is located in the American San Diego, the other in the Mexican city of Tijuana.

According to experts, the tunnel was used for several months and was well equipped. Some parts of the walls were reinforced, and a ventilation and lighting system was used inside, and rails were laid.
