Mahmoud Abbas, head of the Palestinian National Authority, announced his decision to terminate all agreements with Israel and the United States because of the Israeli government’s intention to annex the Palestinian lands . “The Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian state from today are withdrawing all obligations under all agreements with the governments of the United States and Israel, as well as from all obligations based on these agreements and arrangements, including the security sphere,” Abbas said.

He also called on Israel to bear full responsibility to the international community as an “occupying force in the occupied territory of Palestine.”

In addition, Abbas said the US administration is fully responsible for “oppressing the Palestinian people.”

“We consider it the main partner of the Israeli occupation government in all its aggressive and unfair decisions and measures against our people,” he said.

According to Abbas, Palestine is ready to return to negotiations on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict with the mediation of a third party.
