Palestinian killed by Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank

US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — Israeli soldiers opened fire and killed a Palestinian who tried to overthrow them while driving a car on Friday in the occupied West Bank, the Israeli military said.

No Israelis have been killed in what the military claims to be a ram-car attack. “In response,” she added, “the soldiers fired and neutralized the attacker.”

No comments could be obtained from the Palestinian authorities.

The region has been the site of renewed tensions since the Israeli authorities expressed their hope of being able to advance their plan to extend Israeli sovereignty in the West Bank over Jewish settlements and over the Jordan Valley.
