Kilometer-long asteroid approaching Earth captured on video
(ORDO NEWS) — A latest generation telescope recorded the passage of an asteroid that was a short distance from Earth.

A kilometer-long asteroid, which NASA called “potentially dangerous”, came close to the planet yesterday.
Asteroid 1994 PC1 was recorded by the new Gille and De Sola Telescope (TGS) at the Pujalt Observatory in Barcelona. This space object is part of the Apollo asteroid group, orbiting the Sun.
In the video, you can barely make out a moving white dot against the background of black outer space. It is nothing but an asteroid traveling at 80,000 km/h in space.
