Elon Musk’s 2-year-old son was upset when his rocket didn’t reach orbit
(ORDO NEWS) — The child of Elon Musk and musician Claire “Grimes”, who goes by the name Boucher X Æ A-12, or simply “X” for short, is already having trouble launching rockets, just like his father did in SpaceX’s early days.
According to Grimes, after failing to get his toy rocket into orbit, the child said, “That damn rocket is too heavy.”
The situation is ludicrously reminiscent of SpaceX’s troubles getting its first rocket into a stable orbit. Back then, SpaceX, led by X’s father, was only able to get its first Falcon 1 orbital rocket into stable orbit on its fourth attempt, in 2008.
