The experts said that a woman who is 22 years old suffers from a progressive uncontrolled HIV infection. She was infected with SARS-CoV-2 beta and had been ill for 9 months. During all this time, he managed to accumulate quite a lot of various mutations.

It is also reported that the first positive test for covid was received at the beginning of 2021. In September, the woman was sent to a Cape Town hospital, where she tested positive again. It turned out that since the moment of infection, she continued to get sick.

It was possible to confirm this with the help of a study conducted by specialists. A resident of South Africa was able to finally overcome the coronavirus at the end of autumn 2021. The experts also added that since January, the woman faced problems related to adherence to the HIV treatment regimen.
