(ORDO NEWS) — EEVE is taking pre-orders for the Willow X, an outdoor robot that can perform tasks such as lawn mowing, weeding, and fruit and vegetable picking.
The device is still under development and is expected to go on sale in 2024. Two hands and a 4K camera on the machine help it perform a variety of tasks.
Willow X is an outdoor robot that can perform tasks such as lawn mowing, weeding, and harvesting fruits and vegetables. The EEVE robot concept was first demonstrated in 2021, based on the design of the first device, Willow.
The company is now accepting pre-orders for the smart home gadget, which is expected to go on sale in 2024. The robot has arms that help it perform various tasks and can carry objects in its body.
Another potential application for the device is garbage collection, which was recently demonstrated in a YouTube video. Willow X has AI capabilities and a 4K camera to help it detect objects and avoid obstacles, according to EEVE.
Willow X can last up to six hours on a single charge, while Willow X Pro can last up to eight hours. Other features of the gadget include autonomous navigation, rain detection and the ability to climb slopes up to 25% for the standard model and 35% for the Pro.
You can now pre-order Willow-X and Willow-X Pro at discounted prices of $3,990 and $4,690 respectively. After the end of the pre-sale period, the price will rise to US$4,200 for the standard model and US$4,900 for the Pro. The devices are available in white, silver and gold colors.
