(ORDO NEWS) — The World Health Organization (WHO) today released new advice on treating patients infected with Covid-19, including those who continue to show symptoms after recovery, reports Reuters.
“The new advice in today’s update is that people who have Covid-19 and are being treated at home should have their oxygen levels constantly monitored to see if their condition is improving or if they need to be treated in hospital,” said a WHO spokeswoman. Margaret Harris.
The WHO has also announced that it recommends the use of drugs in small doses, against blood clots.
Margareth Harris, confirmed at today’s press conference in Geneva, that the team of experts from the WHO currently located in the Chinese city of Wuhan to find out the origin of the virus, should leave the quarantine center to continue their work.
Harris has refused to comment on reports of vaccination delays in European Union countries.
She used the opportunity to emphasize that there is no concrete data, where the WHO priority remains health workers in all countries and hopes that in the first 100 days of this year they will be vaccinated.
