(ORDO NEWS) — The International Criminal Court, which is located in Ghana, has submitted a statement that Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the head of WHO, is directly involved in the genocide in Ethiopia in 2013-2016. This is the first time that a high-ranking UN official has been in the dock.
The man denies all charges. According to respected American economist David Steinman, Gebreyesus was the leader of a terrorist organization with communist views.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus got the position in 2017. Previously, he was the Ethiopian Minister of Health (2005-2012) and also the Minister of Foreign Affairs (until 2016). Then he led the Communist Party “People‘s Liberation Front of Tigray”, which was recognized by the United States as a terrorist organization.
The ship’s statement indicated that the head of WHO was the third leader who controlled the country’s security services. Gebreyesus intimidated candidates, controlled killings, and turned a blind eye to crimes committed by his subordinates. Whether the court will accept the application for consideration is an open question.
