(ORDO NEWS) — WhatsApp has announced a new feature that will allow users to log into their chats using the fingerprint scanner on their devices.
This feature will protect private messages on WhatsApp and add a layer of security for users. Users will be able to enable the new feature in the app’s Settings menu and set it up for quick and secure access to their chats.
The update is planned to be launched in the near future – after April 10th.
However, this feature is optional and users can continue to use the app without using it. You can also use your PIN or face recognition to enter chats if your device supports it.
The new fingerprint login feature is already available for iOS and Android users in several countries, and will gradually expand to other regions.
