Walruses returned to the Kara Sea

(ORDO NEWS) — Walruses began to appear again on the shore of the Kara Sea in the area of the village of Kharasavey, where more than a thousand individuals sailed last year. This was reported on Saturday in the official Instagram account of the Russian Arctic exploration center.

“Walruses began to arrive on the shore of the Kara Sea near the village of Kharasavei, having taken a fancy to last year’s rookery. The sea hare sailed first, and walruses followed,” the report said.
