Key US indices fell 0.84-2.14% at the opening of trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday, according to data on the trading floor website.

The American industrial index Dow Jones in the first minutes of trading fell 2.14%, to 19472.08 points. According to The Wall Street Journal , it opened below 20,000 points for the first time since 2017.

The fall of the S&P 500 index, which includes the 500 largest companies in the US market, amounted to 1.82% (up to 2354.41 points). The Nasdaq electronic stock exchange index fell 0.84% ​​to 6931.37 points.
