US, WASHINGTON (ORDO NEWS) — US senators and US presidential administration officials Donald Trump have reached an agreement on a large-scale package of economic support measures designed to mitigate the effects of the outbreak of coronavirus, White House spokesman Eric Weeland said on Wednesday.
“We have reached an agreement,” Welland told reporters after several days of negotiations on a package of measures that is expected to be $ 2 trillion.
Voting of the bill is due later Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said.
US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said Trump will “sign exactly” the bill if approved by the Senate and House of Representatives.
