(ORDO NEWS) — The military leadership has so far refused to release the amazing videos, which are reportedly of 19 separate sightings in the second half of 2019 alone. This is reported by the Daily Star.
The US Navy has banned the release of its UFO footage , saying it would “damage national security”. We are talking about 24 videos with unexplained aircraft.
The videos cover 19 separate UFO sightings that occurred in the second half of 2019. Citing the Freedom of Information Act, UFO investigative publication Black Vault requested the video to be made public, but Navy officials refused.
Gregory Cason, deputy director of the Navy Office of Freedom of Information Protection, wrote: “Disclosure of this information would be detrimental to national security because it could provide adversaries with valuable information about Department of Defense operations, vulnerabilities and/or capabilities. No parts of the video may be separated for release.”
Cason said they have declassified three videos showing clashes between Top Gun Navy pilots and unidentified aerial phenomena that were released two years ago.
He said the military leadership took the step “without further damage to national security.”
The scandal arose after the US government investigated 144 reports of close encounters between military pilots and mysterious aircraft.
Former U.S. State Department Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation analyst Marik von Rennenkampff said the videos should be released.
He told The Hill: “The Pentagon has at least two dozen, and probably many more, UFO videos.
Despite public commitments to transparency, officials refuse to release any footage.”
“Public release of non-conflicting UFO videos can quickly resolve several cases.
The Pentagon must comply with transparency obligations and release all UFO footage.”
